Milwaukie light rail promises to strap an enormous debt to every taxpayer in Clackamas County. The right thing to do is to ask County taxpayers if they want to burden themselves with this mountain of debt.. in exchange for what many perceive as an inflexible, phenomenally expensive mass transit idea that simply makes no financial sense…besides increasing transit time and far greater inconvenience for riders. Bringing new crime into the area is another very real likelihood-as we’ve already seen at the Clackamas Town Center light rail terminal.
